Roaches rule!

Cockroaches will eat any food scraps and they are also known to snack on cardboard, the plastic insulation around electrical wire, and even their own offspring. Cockroaches rest most of the time but can be very active, swimming underwater for 40 minutes or running up to 3 miles (5 km) in an hour. They can also survive radiation levels that would kill humans.
